About Me

Hi, I’m Tim. I”m a strategist, producer, and storyteller who helps people and organizations bring their most important ideas to life.

Over the past decade, I’ve worn many hats: Chief Marketing Officer for start-ups like Klink Delivery Inc. and CoBuy, professor of media and storytelling at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala, and co-founder of Motivo Media, my production company in Seattle. Along the way I’ve launched products, scaled campaigns, directed films, and built creative teams across the U.S. and Latin America.

The bottom line is simple: I work with people who care deeply about something and wish others could feel what they feel. Whether it’s a movement, a product launch, a policy initiative, or a story worth spreading, I help make that feeling real.

Sometimes that means stepping in as a strategist, shaping messaging and rollout. Other times it means acting as a producer, assembling the right team to make it happen. And sometimes it’s just me, rolling up my sleeves and getting it done.

My filmmaking work has taken me from the Amazon rainforest of Colombia to festival premieres across the U.S. Recently I produced, co-directed and co-write The Art of Inflation, a fictional narrative short set in Venezuela, which debuted at the Oscar-qualifying Indy Shorts Film Festival and continues its festival run. I also am Directing and Producing Touching the Sky, a feature-length documentary about trust and resilience, developed with international creative teams.

Beyond the projects, I live in Seattle with my wife, Andrea, and our oversized Maine Coon, Lunita. Travel has been one of my greatest teachers, from India to Spain to Colombia, every journey brings back new stories, new perspectives, and new ways of seeing the world.

At the end of the day, I believe curiosity keeps us growing, collaboration makes us stronger, and story is the most powerful tool we have for change. If you need someone who can cut through the noise, shape a vision, and deliver results, whether through strategy, film, or marketing, I’d love to connect.

I’d love to hear about what you’re building.
